As Memorial Day approaches, we pause to remember and honor the lives of those who died in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the foundation of the freedoms we hold dear. Though Memorial Day honors those who gave their lives, it is also a time when many living veterans quietly carry the weight of that loss.
