Tidewell Hospice patient George Fotovich, WWII Army veteran, was honored this week by Tidewell Honors Veterans Volunteer Ted Ballin during a pinning ceremony on the 79th anniversary of D-Day. George served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division and landed on the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944. The special event was organized in his honor to recognize his sacrifice and service to our country. Yesterday on the 79th anniversary of D-Day, Tidewell Hospice patient George Fotovich, a WWII Army veteran who served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, was honored with a special pinning ceremony. Family and friends gathered to watch the special ceremony at Brookdale Rotonda, organized by our Tidewell Hospice colleagues.
