Maya Angelou once said, “We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.” To change, to grow, to achieve mastery in life – these things involve work and sweat and failure and determination. They require clear vision and stubborn hope.
May we have the wisdom to appreciate the beauty not only in the colorful wings but also in the struggle which made them possible.
