As I walked down the avenue, the late afternoon sun was turning
the lovely and dying sycamore leaves into fragments of brilliant stained glass,
and I said to myself,
“This alone is worth the price of admission to our broken and glorious world.”
Linda Larson
There is so much beauty in the world. The soaring sounds of a symphony orchestra, the delicate intricacy of an orchid, a baby’s laugh, a hug from someone we love, the taste of our favorite cuisine cooked to perfection. Let’s refuse to be lulled by the mundane and the monotonous this week so that we miss the beauty which surrounds us. Instead, let’s savor every sight and sound, every moment of connection.
Have a great week, everyone!
